Head Teacher’s message:

It has been a busy and exciting term with lots going on at Templefield. A big thank you to all the volunteers who have come into school this term to help with readers, walk to swimming, help on trips and support in the classroom. You provide an invaluable service to the school.

I would like to say a big thank you to the Culmington team; The residential trip was a great success and we are really grateful for the teachers and TAs who give up their evenings to provide this experience for your children. Parents evening was well attended and we are pleased with how well children are progressing. We are aware that some parents found the mid term reports confusing. We are still finding our feet with government changes on how we assess pupils but I intend to work with parents to develop a reporting system that is transparent to all and keeps you fully informed.  At Templefield we work hard to provide all our pupils with an exciting and enriching curriculum as well as embedding our core values across the curriculum. This term alone as well as the year 4 residential we have had; Book week, cuddles for cancer, red nose day, PTA story night, afternoon tea with the head, wow work celebration, circus skills day for year 1, PTA quiz, y4 animal capers, art day and much more. We are looking forward to a busy summer term. Our Value for the Term is perseverance and we will be looking at this in the context of doing our best in class and out. Have a restful Easter break and we look forward to welcoming you all at the start of the summer term.

Regards

Mrs Lampard
